Section 01

Agreement to these terms

autovinreports.com is operated by Auto Vin Reports, a Certiva LLC company. By using the site, placing an order, or using a report you have purchased, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to them, do not use the site.

Section 02

The service

We sell vehicle history reports in packages. The package you choose determines which records are included; current packages and prices are listed on our pricing page. Every purchase is a one-time payment. We do not offer subscriptions and we do not bill you on a recurring basis.

Reports are compiled from third-party records and databases available to us at the time of your request. What appears in a report depends on what has been reported to those sources. A report is not a physical inspection and is not a guarantee of a vehicle's condition, title status, mileage or fitness for any purpose. You remain responsible for your own inspection and your own purchase decisions.

Reports are emailed within 24 hours of a completed order.

Section 03

Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, layout, graphics, report formats and the Auto Vin Reports name and marks, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, modify, distribute or create derivative works from any part of the site without our prior written consent. You may use a report you have purchased for your own personal or internal business purposes.

Section 04

Content you submit

If you send us feedback, suggestions or other material, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce and display that material in connection with our business. You are responsible for anything you submit and you confirm that you have the right to submit it.

Do not submit material that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, misleading, or that infringes anyone's rights. We may remove submitted material at our discretion.

Section 05

Acceptable use

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to:

• Use the site or a report for any unlawful purpose.
• Post or transmit content that is harmful, obscene, harassing or otherwise objectionable.
• Interfere with or disrupt the site, its security, or the systems it runs on.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system or data.
• Use automated means to scrape, harvest, resell or systematically extract our content or reports.
• Use a report or any vehicle data in it for a purpose prohibited by applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate access for any user who breaches this section.

Section 06

Payment and refunds

Prices are shown in US dollars on our pricing page and again at checkout. The amount you pay depends on the package you select. Payment is taken at checkout through PayPal, which is our only payment provider, and your order is confirmed by email.

Purchases are covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. Refund requests must be sent to support@autovinreports.com within 30 days of purchase and must include your order details. We review each request, and approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Full eligibility rules are in our Refund Policy.

Section 07

Limitation of liability

The site and the reports are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind except those that cannot be excluded by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Auto Vin Reports, Certiva LLC, and their officers, employees and agents are not liable for any damages arising out of or connected with your use of, or inability to use, the site or the reports. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive and consequential damages, and any loss of profits, data or goodwill, whether the claim is based in contract, tort or any other theory, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim relating to a report is limited to the amount you paid for that report.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. Where that is the case, the limitations above apply to the maximum extent permitted.

Section 08

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Auto Vin Reports, Certiva LLC, and their affiliates, officers, employees and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your use of the site, the content you submit, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

Section 09

Privacy

Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what personal information we collect and how we handle it. By using the site, you agree to that policy as well as to these terms.

Section 10

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or our services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Oakland County, Michigan, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Section 11

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The revised terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the site after that date means you accept the revised terms.

Section 12

Termination

We may suspend, restrict or terminate your access to the site at any time, with or without cause and without prior notice. Termination does not affect any right or obligation that arose before it, including payment obligations and the limitation of liability and indemnification sections above, which survive termination.
